Love this spot, but the DJ this past Saturday was not on point. He did not do a good job mixing the music. I was expecting a nice mix of old and current dancehall, with a mix of Afrobeat, & Culture Reggae, but I was extremely disappointed. He also did a poor job transitioning to the next song. Footprints, please invest in a more professional DJ. Please. Word to the wise: The quality of a DJ can affects the number of people who come to your place of busisness.
This was my first time in Atlanta. We came up from Jacksonville, Florida to go to the Igloo Festival but was very disappointed. We couldn't get in because it was too many people. On top of that a huge fight broke out and a gun was drawn. It was time to go. I was very frustrated, aggravated, and hungry but didn't want any fast food. Stopped by here just to get food, and it was a whole Dancehall party. Not only did I eat, but I drank Rum Punch and danced until they closed. They changed my whole attitude. The cooking staff was friendly, my drinks was on point, and the music was great!!! I really enjoyed my self and when I come back i will definitely be visiting again!!!!
Wasn't what it use to be. DJ was all over the place with the music. Don't get me wrong the environment was comfortable.
Loved the place. Authentic caribbean vibes for authentic caribbean people. Venue could use updating....but those are sometimes the best spots. Good crowd of people and the bouncers actually smile.
I have been coming to Footprints for years I can honestly say it is one of the safest environment to party drink socialize and have a great time. The bartenders are amazing the drink is always on point the owner is super super fantastic people person I totally get Footprints of 5 * + 20 Stars awesome environment I love it love it love it and whenever you in Atlanta Georgia you wouldn't hit some good reggae music you want to be in your family with everybody get along and the chicken to be safe I recommend you go to Footprints you would not regret it
If you town and you want to lessen good raggae music that's the place and good food
Had some brown stew and it was very good surprisingly cause now a days these Jamaican restaurants are dropping back on flava ?
Love the music and the comfort of the crowd. Been coming here for years! However, new kitchen staff... just do not go there hungry or you will starve.
This is my place to go listen to caribbean music on Saturday nights. It doesn't get packed till about 1am. Drinks are always good too. DJ is good.
If you want to have a good, free time visit this bar! Its open late, good drinks, good music, good crowd, if you want to dance this is the place to go! Its a true Jamaican experience! Grown folks only!
Good Caribbean hangout night spot with a nature crowd. music
Great environment! Great music!
For one the bartender by the name of sunshine makes my favorite coctail, and if she sees that I had to much she won't sell me another drink.
I visit Footprints often the bartenders are great music is good and PARKING IS FREE!!(that's a big deal going out in Atlanta). Its typically a 10.00 cover no matter the time of arrival. Dont be fooled if you show up at 11pm and its empty...by 1207 its packed.Saturday night is best. They sell food but its just ok. Their drinks are ALWAYS right!
Nice Jamaican club great variety of Jamaican and African music mature crowd
15yrs plus my weekend spot love the music food and it's very grown and sexy
had some great music and foo, several visits with my hubby, all positive.
There was plenty of parking. Music was great, and wonderful vibe.
That's where I go and party its great no complaints.
The best food an friends I love foot prints an the music is the best.an also ludi night every Thursday Paul say that come out an have fun
Nice place to be grown folks... DJ plays good music but don't no now to mix music going from a hit muisc to a slow music. He needs to no how to blend his music properly. If you playing a hit songs make it all the way and if you playing a slow music for girls to wine then make it slow music all the way. Don't just go in and out.
Thank you Footprints for helping us celebrate my sister's birthday Saturday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. The bartender was extremely helpful. The prices were reasonable as well
Great food! Great Music! I had a blast!
My favorite spot! Good food, good music and good vibes.

Good old and new dance hall and calypso music....small place, need a new DJ
Go go go go.... nice DJ... great crowd....big crowd ...if you looking for a Partayyyyy...gooooo
Like the place but the door man can be catty and messy. Music is good, drinks are good, staff is good with the exception of the door man or security. They really needed to take down all of those old box tv's that they have hanging around the bar area.
A great little neighborhood lounge that offers original reggae music and authentic Jamaican food! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole atmosphere...
This place is located in Decatur in an old shopping complex. It's one of the first clubs my Mom and I were told about when we moved to Atlanta. The club has more of an older crowd most nights. When you are there you feel like you are on an island amongst the locals. I only come here to dance and just hang out ocassionally. I am mostly there weekly because of their fantastic food! Their jerk chicken and oxtail are my personal favorite!!! You can dine in for dinner before 10 with no cover charge. If you go to party don't forget that Jamaicans don't really start the party until after midnight :-)
It was a nice vibe, an older crowd, but not too old to do dem ting yuh kno? lol it was nice cuz there was no dutty whining and all that nonsense that young ppl or ahem ppl my age haha like to do, so if you want to just chill, whine up yuh waist and drink a drinks, then check it out.
Had the oxtails with a side order of plantains let's just say I will be a regular customer
It's a hole in the wall, but food is slamming and the drinks are strong! Some of the best oxtails in Atlanta!
I had a bowl with my fiance last night the DJ was perfect staff was amazing like the crew
Free food on Friday!
Definitely older, mature crowd. On Friday's you can get in for $5 and dinner is free, not the drinks. I haven't been on a Friday where the house was packed. Really, the crowd can be counted on two hands. So if you're not looking for a full house, and a place to chill, and unwind, Friday's and Sundays are for you. On Saturday you can get in for $10. If you get there early (around 11-11:30) you can have enough time to get a table and eat before it gets bumping, (and that's relative). The party really gets going after 12:30 and you can expect to at least work up a sweat, if you love to dance. Sunday's are free to get in.
The food is good! If you like Jamaican food, you're going to enjoy the dishes. My favorite dish is the Escovitch Fish plate. I have that with rice and peas, steamed veggies (cabbage, carrots and peas) and fried plantain. I would also order and extra side of plantain.
I loved the music and the drinks
The stew fish is yummy, my favorite dish there and the drinks are on point. One of my favorite places to go to on Saturdays..
Nice place for mature people.. love Sunday evening fan club..
I like that it's very laid back with no smoking. The food in this place is very good. The only reason why I can't give this place five stars is due to the lady at the ticket counter. She wears a welcoming smile but can get very nasty and impatient is a sec.
Great place for Caribbean food and music. I've enjoyed this place for years.
